Our community youth service, Whetū Marewa, is provided across the Rotorua district. We focus on improving the mental wellbeing of young people by working with taiohi and their whānau to build confidence, resilience and wellbeing.
[The support I received] meant I had access to someone in the community whose job was to check in with me, meet me where I was at, and treat me with empathy. This was something that I desperately needed.
