At Pathways, we recognise that having the right people, in the right roles, with the right attitudes can make a huge difference to a person's recovery.

Support worker
Pathways support workers are skilled professionals who demonstrate personality, commitment, compassion and great ideas as they provide day-to-day support and personalised solutions for the people who use our services. Our support workers have great interpersonal skills - they know how to laugh and engage with anyone! This is a job with a lot of flexibility around working hours - support workers tend to work across a range of different rosters, shifts and positions. Registered health professional
Registered health professionals are tertiary qualified registered nurses, occupational therapists or social workers. Their job is to aid recovery for people who are experiencing mental illness.They need to be leaders who are able to prove and demonstrate experience in clinical and non-clinical decision making, creative flair and the desire to develop innovative, personalised solutions. Team leader
Pathways' team leaders are responsible for providing strong operational management and leadership to staff and ensuring quality, responsive and individualised support for people who use our services. Service leader
Service leaders are usually experienced registered health professionals who already have staff management experience and who are ready to take the next step into an inspirational leadership role. Their work requires them to combine clinical knowledge with leadership and drive, to really engage staff and empower results. Peer support specialist
Peer support specialists are people who have first-hand experience of using mental health services. They act as a ‘recovery coach’ to provide others with support. They are skilled and trained workers, requiring Peer Support Specialist and Crisis Prevention Intervention Certificates, as well as great communication and motivational skills.

Healthy lifestyles coordinator
Pathways' healthy lifestyles coordinators have qualifications and experience in recreation, health or sport and an interest in the mental health sector. They work with staff and the people who use our services to provide a suite of initiatives which enable them to develop and maintain healthy lifestyles. Manager
Managers within Pathways design, develop, plan and implement. Their job is to lead and manage the development of our services. They are generally people who have wide experience within the health sector. They're strong communicators (just ask their teams!) and inspirational leaders: they need to be capable of engaging key stakeholders at all levels across the organisation. Administrator
Administrators at Pathways keep our offices sailing smoothly along by providing administration services to people across the organisation. They need great organisational and time management skills, good computer skills and great attention to detail. Being innovative and flexible is important - but the most attribute for an administrator is to be a friendly, approachable, efficient 'people person'. Meet two of our administrators.
