Pathways Board
Pathways is a trading division of the charitable company Pathways Health Ltd.
The members of the Pathways Board are leaders in their own right. Some have been involved with the organisation since Pathways inception as a charitable trust in 1989. The experience and expertise of the Board is wide ranging, representing consumer, family and Maori perspectives, as well as decades of experience across a range of sectors, from health services to strategic policy.
Our Board members embrace opportunities such as the Pathways Hui to listen and share ideas and believe the future of the organisation lies in the delivery of diverse services that best meet people’s changing needs.
The Pathways Board consists of Julie Nelson, Katrina Ings, Jacqui Graham, Rei Mahaere and Kath Winn.

They have set a benchmark for us to follow in innovation and creativity to enhance and progress the great work they have already done. This is truly an inspirational, learning journey for me as a new Trustee of Pathways and it gives me great pride and pleasure to be with a dynamic team of people who breath the following credentials of enthusiasm, innovation, creativeness, exceptional skill, brilliant knowledge and the courage to make changes that will make a difference for future generations. I will continue with the vision and legacy of Wi Kuki Kingi to keep the waka afloat and heading in the right direction." |

I feel very privileged to be part of an organisation with such vision and passion, constantly working towards providing the best community based mental health services in the world. The attitude that anything is achievable has certainly been the case for our family. Having been out of the workforce for 20 years, with the support of Pathways, our son is working four days a week, has recently obtained his drivers license and now proudly drives his own car. This is something neither he, nor our family, would have thought possible a few years ago. It's like a miracle! Thanks to Pathways’ enthusiastic and highly trained staff, clients are achieving their own personal goals, and realising their dreams." |
